Mom’s French Toast

Mom’s French Toast
Batter:
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of butter for the pan – to start
Topping:
A little butter
Maple Syrup
Powered Sugar
  1. Mix the batter together with a fork.
  2. Heat up frying pan on low heat, and add a tsp of butter to the pan.  I like to cook on low; otherwise, the pan gets to hot and everything burns 😦  Remember to add more butter each time you cook a new piece.  I also like to rinse the pan with a little water after cooking a few to give the pan a fresh start.
  3. Dip wheat bread in batter and then start frying!!
  4. Watch the french toast while cooking.  “Peek” at the side that’s cooking, and then flip when it reaches your desired brownness.
Finished product!  Delicious French Toast 🙂
